Our founder Shiva Kounder personally underwent bilateral hip replacement surgery in India after suffering from Avascular Necrosis for six years.

Shiva Kounder — didn’t start this business from a boardroom. He started it from years of pain.

In 2014, Shiva Kounder was diagnosed with Avascular Necrosis (AVN) — a condition where reduced blood supply causes bone tissue to die, leading to the gradual collapse of the hip joint. For six long years, he lived with escalating pain, watching his mobility slowly disappear. Walking became a struggle. Simple daily tasks became ordeals. He walked with a painful, waddling gait that no one around him fully understood.

In 2020, after six years of suffering, he finally underwent his first hip replacement surgery at GVN Riverside Hospital under Dr. V.J. Senthil. Within three months, he was walking normally again — pain free for the first time in years.

In 2023, he returned for his second hip. Same doctor. Same outstanding result.

The transformation was life-changing.
